Shannons was established in 1971 in Melbourne to provide insurance cover for motoring enthusiasts.

The classic car category were the majority of Shannons customers in these early years, however our customer base has broadened to include all veteran, vintage, classic, modern and modified vehicles including motorcycles – we meet the needs of all motoring enthusiasts. These days, Shannons are part of the Suncorp Group, the largest insurer in Australia. We have offices in all capital cities and represented in more than 30 regional areas.
